If I had done nothing, they say 2 million people would have died. Or more. It would have been terrible.
Many people didn’t act fast enough. I don’t want to embarrass them by saying their names.
Last evening, it’s just another two comments among all the gas lighting and gas passing heard daily from the White House.
Yet no reporter asks:
“Why would you have done nothing?”
“Do you recall a time of national crisis when a President did nothing?”
“Haven’t you done nothing? You’re referring to what would happen if EVERYONE did nothing. The governors have done all the work here. And none of them better than the NBA commissioner. You have done nothing.”
“Your country leads the entire world in covid cases despite getting a 2 month head start, the best intelligence, the best doctors, the best infrastructure. Have you considered resigning? And what would the timeline for that be if you did?”
“If I Had Done Nothing”. Considering, then publicly voicing this during this existential biological and economic crisis warrants widespread calls for the President to resign his office. Unemployment is going straight to 30%. He’s doing nothing about it.
He knows that he doesn’t want it anymore.
Please join me in calling for the President to resign. Perhaps eventually someone will ask him the only appropriate question he should get.
