I’ve been seeing yard signs for her for several weeks here, and none for other candidates. I’m not sure what the attraction is or if it’s just that she or her campaign have been the ones to reach out. I got this from my pastor today:
Generally speaking, if a political candidate or one of their representatives asks to use our facility for a town hall or Q&A I am happy to make the space available. Especially in this time of political discord, I think it is important for voters to have an opportunity to ask questions and meet people running for office or their representatives.
So far only one campaign (Tulsi Gabbard) has reached out.
Mike Gabbard of the Hawaii State Senate will be in town for a few days. His daughter, Tulsi Gabbard, is currently running for President. Mike and his wife will be at Xxxxxx center at St. Xxxxx this Friday, October 4, at 6 PM to answer questions about the candidate. He is not employed by the campaign, but is eager to talk about his daughter's bid for the presidency.
I would encourage all of you to attend and invite a friend. The more we know about the candidates and their stand on issues important to Catholics, the better.
If Trump or one of his family members wants to come I will let you know :)

I know that many of our people voted for tRump. I also know that a few of them are having buyer’s remorse but I can’t imagine them voting for a Democrat. I’m sure the campaign will advertise this event and that others in the community will come (if they can find the church, which is off the beaten path 😉). If I had a car, I might go just to see what he says but I’m not asking someone to schlep me down there. I’m not that interested. BTW, no tRump would ever come to our church. We’re not nearly high class enough for them.
