Slattery was also the last Dem before Boyda to represent KS-02.
For reasons passing comprehension, the voters decided to replace Ms. Boyda with Lynn Jenkins, who showed very little capacity for thinking throughout the process. Where Boyda returned home every weekend and refused to accept her congressional health insurance until everyone in her district had equivalent, Lynn Jenkins has been to town exactly once since taking office in January. She was here for five days, and did not visit either of the two largest cities in her district.
