  •  Tea Party & John Birch Society (0+ / 0-)

When I was in college, which was the 60s, there was this thing called the John Birch Society.  They thought that anyone to the Left of the Daughters of the American Revolution were Communists.  But they were just a bunch of little old ladies, seriously.  That was it.

How did the John Birch Society transmogrify into the Tea Party?  And how did a few little old ladies become a national movement with a national television network to baqck them up?  What happened?

    •  They and the JBS "theories" are still alive (0+ / 0-)

Same shit, different story basically. They just rehashed some to try to fit into a more modern narrative. People like Alex Jones, Rush and the Paul family spew the shit all the time. Well the Paul's do when it will make them money and motivate their base. Then they claim "I didn't do it" when called out on the national stage.

Let them keep spewing this garbage though... it helps us out in the end, even if it is hard to hear.

"The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian... America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance." The Real Ron Paul
