However, this was not about the mid terms of 2010, but rather 2014---and although I understand Ed's anger, as I'm pretty sure this was about Reid's candy ass filibuster "reform," which infuriated me as well, I don't approve of his "revolutionary" threat to not vote.  And I suspect come the mid terms of 2014, you won't here Ed saying it again either.

The rest of my comment stands. As I said, I don't care what any pundit says, there's nothing to be gained by not voting, except another republican in congress, another republican governor, another republican state congress.

It was just before I decided to boycott cable TV.  I heard Ed say this on his TV show, too, but can't find any recorded clips.  I was appalled that Ed was using these words.  Did he sway anyone to stay home?  Who knows.  But it was not a good strategy, you think?

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

I'm appalled too, but Ed can be a hot head, nothing new there. Although I do admire his voice and loyalty to labor. Still, I consider his words irresponsible to say the least.  We don't change things by not voting.

And yes, maybe he did convince some to not vote, who were already so angry they liked his "strategy."  And then we got a shellacking and the pain never ends.  And it did nothing to change the GOP, or the Democratic party.

It's a fact too, that Dems have a history of poor mid term voting records.  Fingers crossed it won't happen again in 2014, that maybe we learned a lesson?  Ever the optimist.

I appreciate you setting me straight on this. I just didn't think big Ed would be that stupid.
