I just recently stumbled across this relatively new game on the Internets. It's called Cyber Nations.
Welcome to Cyber Nations, a free nation simulation game. Create a nation anywhere in the world and decide how you will rule your people by choosing a government type, a national religion, ethnicity, tax rate, currency type, and more in this new geo-political, nation, and government simulator. There are no fees associated with Cyber Nations, no credits or upgrades to buy, no gimmicks, just a fun place to hang out and rule your nation.
So I started my own little country named Progessia.
I was soon contacted by leaders of other nations who extended alliance offers. When you first begin building your nation you may exclude yourself from war. National leaders are encouraged to forsake the exclusion and make themselves vulnerable to attack. Joining an alliance is a necessity. After briefly surveying the offers I received I decided to sign up with the Legion.
I'm the Decider and now I will decide!
MuhahahaHAHAHAHAHA!
So now I'm the king of my own little country. I started off as a non-religious, communist society, but the people adored me so much they insisted on crowning me King of Progessia. Ok, these are the same peasants that insisted that the national religion should be voodoo.
Voodoo it is! Long live the King!
Now I'm building infrastructure, overspending on my military and negotiating trade agreements with other countries. It's good to be the king and still the people adore me.
Interested? Well, if you wanna play go sign up! Daily checkups on how things are progressing is all the time it takes. Hell, I'm putting in much less time than even the 109th Congress. When you sign up go ahead and pick a team color (I chose purple) and find other teammates to trade with. It makes the people happy when the goods start flowing. I'm all about keeping the peasants happy.
Long live the King!
