Greg had this at TPM and I'm surprised it hasn't recieved any play (if I'm mistaken, let me know and I'll delete).
It comes from a Pew poll that shows Americans think Congress is falling short in confronting the President on the war in Iraq.
More below the fold.
Greg Sargent referenced a poll from Pew that showed some astonishing figures.
The question was simple.
Do you think Democratic leaders in Congress are going too far or not far enough in challenging George W.
Bush’s policies in Iraq, or are they handling this about right?
How many said "Too Far?" 28%
You're probably thinking that most folks said "About right." In fact, most folks didn't. The number of folks saying "About right" was 30%.
The number of folks saying "Not far enough" was, get this, 40%.
Fully seventy percent of the country thinks Congress is either doing the Right Thing(tm) in confronting the President or not going far enough.
I hope Majority Leader Reid and Speaker Pelosi hear this message. Lord knows that George W. Bush will not.
