... would you vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton NOW if you had a chance at a do-over?
I'm 50 years old living in NJ, and during the NJ primary I already was feeling iffy about HRC... I respected her, but I really disliked her continuous triangulation. OTOH, although I liked Obama in general terms, I distrusted the concept, HOPE, pushed by Obama (though I'd never actually heard him speak!). Also, to my shame, I felt that America wouldn't vote for a black man. My iffyness at that time led me to not vote thinking I'd be happy either way.. well, relatively so. Now, not so much (the Philadelphia speech had me at 'A More Perfect Union'). Actually, I no longer respect the Clintons and LOVE Obama's message as I've since seen and heard it for myself. I regret that I know more than enough NOW to vote for Obama DEFINITELY over HRC. I regret not having lent my support to him at that time. I'm ecstatic that I don't have to kick myself for voting for HRC.
One of the constant blaring memes being meted out by many parties (read: Clintonistas) is that somehow a person's vote is set in stone no matter what. In other words, that the vote in Nov '08 will mimic the vote in, let's say, Feb '08. Not from ME it won't!
Considering everything that's happened.. do you think many, if not most, HRC voters will be HAPPY to cast that same primary vote in the GE?
