Many of the calls attempting to link Barack Obama to terrorism are originating in a Weston, WV call center. 121 Direct Responsehas contracted with the McCain campaign and the RNC to make the calls. Out of the more than 200 employees, one young woman quit her job rather than make the calls.
The script called "Ayers Persuasion" insinuates that Obama had something to do with Ayers' organization and goes on to slander Democrats as "Leftists" somehow seizing control of Washington(emphasis mine):
"Hello, I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers [airs], whose organization bombed the US Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home, and killed Americans.
"And Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democrat allies lack the judgment to lead our country.
"This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee."
Chaylee Cole, a Fairmont State University student worked part-time at the call center until last Friday.
"I was working at the call center," Cole said. "We got a campaign ad talking about how Obama had been part of terrorist attacks on the Capitol, the Pentagon and a judge's home and had ties with Bill Ayers.
"Last Thursday, I told them I did not want to read it," Cole said. "They said, 'Either you read it or you go home.'
"I told them I wasn't going to read it. They made me go home without pay for the rest of the day."
Jobs are hard to come by in this area and the telemarketing companies offer more than the minimum wage. Chaylee should be commended for having the integrity to refuse to make the calls even it meant losing her job.

UPDATED:
Wow! My first time on the Recommended List! Thanks everyone.
UPDATE2: Several commenters have questioned the use of the word robocall. From what I've been able to gather, although the messages may be delivered by actually live humans or recorded voices, the calls are usually generated/dialed automatically - hence the term robo call.
UPDATE3: Title Corrected.
