An interesting e-mail exchange between Karl Rove and George Friedman, CEO of Stratfor, is among the document dump.
Looks like the two are bosom buddies, probably to no one's surprise.
Much of the exchange is fairly innocuous, and there's even some gratuitous 1%any goodness about hanging out on presumably-heated decks when the weather is chilly.
But there is one curious segment that, apparently, Karl Rove would prefer not go public...
The subject of the e-mails is Stratfor CEO and Rove-supplicant Friedman contacting Turd Blossom to set up a meeting between Dubya and the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States.
The request is made at the behest of a certain Kerry N. Cammack, of Cammack & Strong, P.C., to wit:
George, please contact Karl to coordinate the request you are
honoring from the Indonesian ambassador to the US for a courtesy
call and visit with President Bush. Karl believes the President
would favorably respond to the request but of course that is
contingent on timing and other scheduling commitments. Karl, the
ambassador is a friend of Georgei? 1/2s who has reached out to
him for assistance in arranging this meeting. Thanks for helping
my friend George respond to this request. Best, Kerry
Friedman is happy to oblige, writing Rove that the request comes from Kerry Cammack and that he would be his super bestie if a meeting could be arranged. To which Rove replies:

will do -- he has a call into me as well
I will tell him you inquired and then make it happen
both of us need to worry about what the public knowledge that we know
Cammack could do to our respective reputations
WTF?!

Thanks. I'm already doing damage control on teh Cammack matter.
Sounds serious, don't it?
Somebody help me out here. Now that this is public knowledge, why is it damaging to Rove's reputation, which I thought was already pretty throughly shit-stained?
There's a link to Cammack's web site above. Internet sleuths, have at it!
