I read previously that Obama privately gets the the monthly jobs numbers every Thursday. So he now knows what they are. Next, I thought about his stump speech in Denver this evening in particular. He seemed VERY animated, very passionate and a little unlike his first stop today in Green Bay which was a little low key. Looks like he had his closing A game on. I have a hunch that his body language is indicating that there is an improvement. Maybe 150,000 jobs and maybe a drop to 7.6 or something. I know Gallup has their own job numbers at 7.0 and the revised ADP (for some strange reason they are using a new tweaked formula this month) numbers are looking at 125,000 or close to that (which in the past never seemed in line with the Official Labor Report reported alongside the Unemployment rate and both use different methods of analysis) - but my hunch is that he knows the good news. What does anyone else think? I know when I wake up in the morning I will immediately reach for my cell phone at my bedside, first sweat and then check twitter. If the numbers are good, this election is really over.......
