Happy Thanksgiving Day to all! And, this week California's Inland Empire, consisting of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, issued 'thanks' to PBO and his superhero sidekick, JB.
Inre, the vote counts for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties both flipped to Democratic for the second consecutive Presidential election as voter registrars continue to count almost ten thousand more provisional ballots. I would issue a link to my earlier diary predicting this eventuality, however, my Android ate my homework when I inadvertantly backspaced out. Grrr.
More below Turkey Hollow...
In any case, remaining thankful rather than resentful, I focus rather than faux cuss.
With 5,000 provisional ballots remaining to be counted in Riverside County, 664,688 ballots have been counted thus far (70.46% of the total of 943,402 registered voters). Of these, thirty-nine percent of the counted ballots were Vote-by-Mail (371,467) and 31% were precinct voters (293,221) http://www.voteinfo.net/....
As of yesterday, November 21, the Riverside County voter registrar has totaled 655,844 ballots counted. The following are the preliminary totals:
DEM - Barack Obama 326,062 49.70%
REP - Mitt Romney 316.462 48.25%
Given that the preponderance of Vote-by-Mail and provisional ballots are usually Democratic and Decline-to-State, PBO's lead should expand and even surpass the 50% hurdle. Woo-hoo!

To vote early, registered voters can either drop off ballots in Riverside/Moreno Valley on Gateway Drive or vote by voting maching at the Moreno Valley Mall or the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert.
In San Bernardino County, approximately 4,500 provisional ballots remain to be counted Vote by Mail turnout was 33.25% (283,192) while precinct voting was 35.40% (301,473). http://www.sbcounty.gov/...
