I'm confused. Find your way through the orange maze to see why.
I'm seeing two types of posts by Democrats about the two major political parties. One type can be summarized as "They're going to keep the House, and we're going to lose the Senate too." The other says, "America isn't buying Republican nonsense anymore! We're doing great!"
This is confusing. I follow the news, but it seems to me that if the Democratic party is doing well and America isn't buying Republican nonsense anymore, then we aren't in danger of losing both House and Senate at election time.
But if we really are in danger of losing control of both House and Senate, then a sizable, not-small percentage of Americans are indeed still buying Republican nonsense and no we are not doing great.
These can't both be true.
In the interest of furthering the political education of myself and perhaps other curious, confused individuals, can anyone take a crack at what's really happening, and why we're seeing these competing and mutually exclusive narratives? Comment! De-confuse! Inform!
