Well, it's great to see Keith happy and doing his thing again. Bill O was "World’s Worst Person in Sports" yesterday for going on ESPN radio and repeating lies about how great an athlete he was, and the teams he played for, which never existed. When host Dan Le Batard called Bill O out, based on Olbermann's 10 year old research, O'Reilly employed the Faux News "But in MY world it's true" defense.
“We were undefeated our senior year,” O’Reilly said. “That was a pretty good deal.”
Unfortunately for O’Reilly, Le Batard pointed out that, as Olbermann reported in 2005, Marist did not field a varsity football team until 1978 — seven years after he graduated. In reality, O’Reilly played on a club team.
“It was varsity football in the sense of that we played Georgetown, Catholic U., Fordham, Manhattan, Iona,” O’Reilly told Le Batard after refusing to acknowledge Olbermann. “So, you know, look. You know what it is, guys, you know what it is.”
At any rate, Bill wasn't happy and said he doesn't reply to smear merchants, right before responding.
The interview ended when Le Batard brought up Bill's loofah-falafel-Andrea Mackris days. Yes, trivial matters, but again, nice to see Keith - "still own your head, Bill" - and get an opportunity to troll O'Reilly with his hilarious introduction. "But our winner, OOOHHHHHH, he's BAAACCCKKKK!"
The O'Reilly segment kicks off at the 2:37 mark, after mocking Tiger Woods for being a crybaby, or something.
