Changed the phones over to T mobile it was a HORRIBLE experience. Got double charged for a sim card online that had already been purchased in the store, charged a 50$ restocking fee when swapping out a phone that had not even left the store, and had to pay another $168 up front plus 11 a month for a new 5S because the reconditioned 5c was not available the next day.
The process is NOT transparent and enough information for a graceful transfer is NOT available on line.
I am VERY unhappy. Customers should be able to construct their packages online and get costs including taxes, and arrange to reserve devices for pickup at the store without the interminable and opaque process that goes on now.
In all it took 3 trips to the store and $456 out of pocket to switch over 4 devices in all:: 2 phones to equivalents, my phone and hotspot transferred over, but the hotspot is not functioning yet. This is day 4 of the transition. It was like dealing with a genie. "Oh you did not ask if X was available so now you are going to have to pay an extra fee because we already have Y in the system." I will save about 70$ per month.
Previously I had checked out Sprint's offer and had found that we would all have had to turn in our paid off phones and buy new phones up front at the regular price. So we would have had to spend over 1000.00 to "cut our bill in half".
T-moblie's deal was better.
