I make hard boiled eggs in the following way: I take a medium pot and fill it with cold water. Then I add 6 eggs directly from the refrigerator. Next, I bring the water to a boil. When the water boils I then set a timer for 10 minutes. I let the eggs cook in boiling water until the timers rings. Then I turn off the heat and set the pot to the side and let the water and eggs cool down to room temperature. (I'm at sea level, so the method needs to be adjusted for higher elevations.) This works for me every time and when the eggs are cool they peal easily. So, how do you prepare hard boiled eggs?
