More introspection from Jeb's Christian Broadcasting Network
interview.
"It's not just that people of faith can have their views, it's that they need the space to act on their conscience. That is what faith is about. The best of our faith... is when people act on their core beliefs in a way to help others or to protect the vulnerable or to do whatever they think is right based on their faith. And now that is being attacked."
Yes, Jeb, people of faith are under attack. Certainly they should have the right in "
a big country, a tolerant country" to discriminate against gays. Because that's what faith is about—helping others, by saying, in no uncertain terms, "your marriage is icky and unseemly and beneath me." That's what being a person of conscience is about.
