After reading these, I can understand why George Bush doesn't read newspapers -- he knows reading the news will only validate what he already knows -- that he is unqualified to be President of the U.S.
They are also frightening in that they confirm that the "Emperor has no clothes" -- but only 50% of this country seems to recognize it.
How can we change that? That is what I want to know.
I'm so enraged right now by this Administration and their pandering to the wealthy, their greedy war for oil, and their continuous lies, that I am struggling to think of something that I can do, individually, to put all this angry energy into something more positive and useful. Maybe that is the path to change.
Although I recognize the naivete' of my own thoughts right now, I can't help but think that if everyone who is as outraged as I am would just do something. Protest. Boycott. Write letters to the Editor. Run for Office. Work for a Candidate. If you have money, contribute to a candidate. If you have no money, give time.
