Saw a flash on this and checked to a Politico article.

Supposedly Rep. Mark Meadows has been a thorn in the side of GOP leadership and had been removed from sub committee chairmanship but got it back because the House GOP Caucus voted him back in. According to the article Meadows begged, on his knees, for forgiveness from Boehner for discussing a previous attempt to oust him. But I guess he did not learn from last time. He has submitted what is called a motion to declare the speakership vacant...would require a majority of the house to approve.
I put the "but" in the title so that you don't take this as serious because he is trying to get it discharged for a vote on the floor , which would require a majority of the house to sign, when all he needs to do is bring it up on the floor and it would be immediately considered since it is a "Privileged" motion (Parliamentary speak).
This also most likely won't go anywhere because he has already drawn some heat from a likely ally in Rep Bill Flores (R-TX) who is head of the Conservative Republican Study Group. If Meadows was going to get any support for this motion, the Republican Study group would have been his first area to go.
This most likely to go nowhere unless Pelosi wants to really make things interesting, a guy can only dream....but it does make for some interesting conversation and more headaches for the House GOP.
Just thought that those of you who are looking for another reason to point and laugh at the embarrassment that is called the House GOP leadership would get a kick out of this.
