Bush is holding one of his infamous press conferences. If history holds true, it will be tightly managed, only specific White House friendly reporters will be called on, Helen Thomas will of course get snubbed, and Bush will call people by condescending nicknames.
How pathetic is it that when Bush calls a press conference, it makes news? "Bush actually to meet with Press! OH MY GOD, this is quite a scoop!"
Given your druthers, and the wealth of issues exploding in the Bush Administration, what would you like to hear asked?
Things that were once considered completely taboo are not being considered fair game. Maybe someone will ask why, after the first place hit, George Tenet immediately worried that it was terrorism, while George Bush said "What a lousy pilot!".
I would like to see someone ask if there's anything that's going to budge the June 30th date for transfer of power in Iraq. Under what conditions will we hold off on that?
I somehow feel that this won't get asked, given the nature of a Bush press conference.
