Many of you are aware of the politically motivated censorship occuring in Kentucky at the behest of corrupt Governor Fletcher. Bluegrass Report, one of the finest local political weblogs, has filed suit against the governor. The latest development is that state legislator, Kathy Stein (D Lexington) has submitted a bill that will prevent this governor or any future ones from perpetrating such acts.
AP has picked up the story. Nathan Newman covers it too, pointing to Sirota who tells us that Kentucky is not the only state where political censorship of blogs is/may be an issue (Missouri - Blunt, Indiana - Daniels, Mississippi - Barbour.) If you're interested in helping out and are a resident of Kentucky, go to one of Sirota's pages and contribute your opinion.
