I've borrowed this idea from Al Franken who predicted a couple years ago that the W would not appear at the GOP convention.
At the time he was poo-pooed pretty good.
Why of course the sitting president would speak and attend the pundits said, but now, two years later it's not that wild a thought that he might not be there.
The 2008 Republican National Convention will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota from September 1 until September 4, 2008.[1] The first day of the Republican convention will be Labor Day, the last day of the popular Minnesota State Fair. (The RNC National Convention will be held four days after the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention which will be held in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center). This is the latest any major party convention has ever been convened and the first one to take place entirely in September.

As we're closer to the convention I'm curious how many others believe that George Bush will not be invited to the GOP 2008?
Is Guiliani or Romney really going to stand shoulder to shoulder with the W, raising their hands upward together on stage in the victory salutation?
That's all I got ...
Let me know what you think.
