Of course we're always damn near over run with trolls, but has anyone else noticed the lack of veracity and gumption in them lately?
It used to be (in the old days) trolls would have long, detailed diatribes. Maps of WMD's in Syria. Pictures of schools being painted in Iraq.
These days ... they seem reduced to one and two sentence lines.
A few "We love Bill O'Reilly"s and they're gone.
Not trolled out gone, they are out of ammo gone.
As the 24 per centers whittle down, we are left with troll spittle, not even actual sentences and words, just pieces of Republican talking points spewed like so much beer foam.
Now please trolls, (and Freepers that are reading) don't try to prove me right by posting a bunch of garbage, but gazing across the one ocean of the Internet(s), it's a stark change.
Our "intellectual trolls"? Gone.
Our "military type trolls"? Gone.
Our "academic trolls"? Gone.
There was a diary earlier today that W's "popularity" was under 50 per cent in EVERY State now, maybe that has something to do with it.
Here I thought there would be a period of several years where states slowly went purple, then blue, but I think we're there already. Just look at the trolls ...
This isn't to be overconfident, or jinx 2008, and doesn't mean we're going to win every Senate seat, but I do think we've reached National consensus on a variety of issues.
All I have to do - to do that, is look around.
Around my home town and area, and around this community and the rest of the Internet.
All we're left with ... is the poor concern troll.
That is all.
