Via Greg Sargent at Talking Points Memo, Obama's candor about his past drug use is now being used against him by a very desperate Hillary Campaign in New Hampshire
Billy Shaheen, the co-chair of Clinton's New Hampshire team brought up Obama's past drug use in a interview with the Washington Post.
Shaheen helpfully pointed out that the Republicans will use Obama's candor against him in a Presidential run.
Apparently with a straight face, Shaheen warned:
The Republicans are not going to give up without a fight ... and one of the things they're certainly going to jump on is his drug use," said Shaheen, the husband of former N.H. governor Jeanne Shaheen, who is planning to run for the Senate next year. Billy Shaheen contrasted Obama's openness about his past drug use -- which Obama mentioned again at a recent campaign appearance in New Hampshire -- with the approach taken by George W. Bush in 1999 and 2000, when he ruled out questions about his behavior when he was "young and irresponsible."
Gee, if only Obama was more of a liar about his personal life past and life like Bush..or Bill.
UPDATE: On air live, right now, Tucker Carlson is talking about the Clinton campaign raising the drug issue. Tucker call this really "low". If Tucker labels Clinton's campaign move "low", you gotta know Hillary has made yet another campaign desperation mode mistake. His panel agree and think that this could backfire on Hillary.
Thanks for the concern, Hillary.
"Our gal" is getting down and dirty now. Somehow I'm not surprised.
