No, not that one. That one I wish nothing but the best for her. I hope her child brings her nothing but joy and is a healthy, happy kid You have asked us to refrain and I will respect your wishes when it comes to this one subject; but do not for one moment think I or others like me will let the hypocrisy slide without singing it out loud and singing it as often as we can. . Sorry Senator Obama, but this election is about a 17-year-old girl.
I am a p-agressive, not a progressive. The difference, I tried being progressive, taking the idealistic high road since my first votes in 1984. What has that gained me, us or our country? In my voting life, we have suffered 16 years too many of Republican rule. Being a p-agressive means I will no longer laugh off their baseless attacks, I will sling it back at them. Why, because there is too much at stake this time and 2004 proved you can fool some of the people all of the time. In the past 8 years, these lying, cheating, do as I say not as I do criminals have:
Lost a major US City
Ignored warnings that may have prevented 3000 needless deaths
Started a war of choice
Created a 4th branch of government
Shredded the constitution
Bankrupted the treasury and passed the loot on to their friends.
Created debt that our Great-Great Grandkids will be paying off.
Appointed judges who care more about corporate profits than the constitution and "We the people".
Gutted the justice department.
And on and on and on.
So Sen. Obama, when I see a person or party call them selves pro-life and care nothing about that life after it is born, I will call them on it. When I see them impeach a president on a personal issue and then go into an airport bathroom, I will call them on it. When they put a cover over the statue of Lady Justice because it is dirty and then offer up a potential first lady for queen of a biker rally, I will call them on it. When they call others cowards and have never served in the military like I have, I will call them on it. When something that they do not like happens to them and they call it a private matter, and if it happens to someone else it is fair game, I will call them on it. These people want to take darn near every right those 17-year-old girls and 77-year-old women deserve today away from them.
Sorry Senator Obama, but father to father, this election is about a 17-year-old girl. Your daughter and my daughter will turn 17 in eight, short years and this one is about them and every other woman who deserves the right to determine their own destiny.
