So, the Presidential Primary continues. We Democrats do not have a nominee yet.
So what?
The race isn't over, and there does not need to be a winner until the convention.
Mud slinging and bickering only serve to help the Republicans, but continuing the race is not a detriment to our party.
Clinton and Obama can continue to battle each other all the way up to the convention. That's what Primaries are for. We have kept the Democrats on the front page for 4 entire months.
It should not be up to the MSM to decide when we decide. Let us run the party and they can report on the facts. Or just spew whatever crap the Republicans want the to about our party, but that's what they do anyway.
flippo
If we can stop hurting one another, and keep the pundits at bay, we can actually run our party the way it was meant to be run.
Why do we need to know who our nominee is months before the process is finished? Who does that help? Does it help Democrats? No. Does it help the people who want to start framing our candidate in a bad light? Yes.
In this Olympic year why can't we look to other contests to see that tripping one's opponent is not how you win a race. Running faster and better is how one wins. DO we allow NBC to decide who will win the Olympic Marathon after the 1st hour because they want to report something, or do we let the runners finish?
I am not angry, nor am I upset with Clinton and Obama. This is the first time in my voting life when the Democrats have a strong chance of just walking into the White House. (Even dole was a tougher opponent than McCain will be.) Why can't we take time to decide? It's clean that we like both candidates. Only one can win, by why force the issue?
I say, "Screw it. you'll know who our candidate will be when we've decided."
