Local TV station THV has put up an article about Timothy Dale Johnson, the killer of Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman Bill Gwatney: Developing News: Shooter's Classmate Speaks To Today's THV.
I couldn't help noticing this:
Today's THV has talked with two of Johnson's classmates. They both tell us that Johnson was very quiet and socially awkward.
They say Johnson had a bumper sticker on his truck that said "I don't miss Bill."
They also say they distinctly remember weird political conversations with him.
Sounds like a typical Clinton hater. (Remember that all of this happened in Arkansas, so that the meaning of "Bill" would be pretty clear.)
Pravda has an AP article that expresses mystification about why Johnson would have driven 30 miles after being fired, Man drives more than 30 miles to shoot Arkansas Democratic chairman dead:
Police and neighbors are struggling to explain why a man described as a loner drove more than 30 miles (50 kilometers) to Arkansas' Democratic Party headquarters and fatally shot its chairman hours after getting fired from his job.
If the radio in Johnson's truck was tuned to a conservative talk station, that might answer AP's question.
Didn't the shooting occur while Rush Limbaugh was on the air?
