This isn't going to really be a diary, but something that should not escape your attention as it represents just one of the ways the rest of the world see our President. Eight Indonesian patrons have erected a statue of Barack Obama as a child with his outstretched hand holding a butterfly in the neighborhood where he went to school as a child. It is a beautiful piece of art unto itself.
"We imagined Barry, and we thought the story would be inspirational to all Indonesian children that when you dream big, they can come true," said Ron Mullers, chairman of the nonprofit group Friends of Obama.....
After the unveiling, a group of grade school students eagerly awaited their chance to have photos taken in front of Obama's statue."
