Rush Limbaugh has been making much ado about the lack of searchable text in the Stimulus Bill (a.k.a. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009). Limbaugh claimed that Democrats "have reformatted the [economic recovery] bill -- they've made it a PDF file when they posted it. ... And, so, you can read every page, but you cannot keyword search it. It's not a text file as legislation normally is as posted on these public websites. They don't want anybody knowing what's in this."
Media Matters has already refuted this claim:

But let's go a step further and remove .pdf files from the discussion. The Library of Congress has a fully-searchable HTML copy of the legislation at their Thomas ( http://www.thomas.gov ) website:
http://www.thomas.gov/...
Now put a sock in it, Rush!
