OK all of the rest of you Georgians who have been wondering what you could do about getting a good health reform plan done, here's your chance. John Barrow, my congressperson and a certified Blue Dog is holding town hall style meetings in three Central Georgia towns on Saturday.
You can find an example of Mr. Barrow's recent work here. I'll bet he's not expecting a lot of intelligent well informed people asking pertinent questions about a public option to show up. Here is is schedule for Saturday. This area is a comfortable driving distance for most Georgians and offers a rare opportunity for progressives in the state to actually influence a vote that makes a difference. After all, what's the point of calling Saxby Chambliss and demanding a public option? Barrow is in deep to the insurance companies, but he can be moved. Make him feel the heat.
