Hello fellow Kossacks, let's play a guessing game. Who said this quote?
The .50cal is quite a gun! I was never ascared of the unions but they better not F#%k with me again!!! Just saying.
A. A coal company boss circa 1920
B. Tony Soprano
C. New Hampshire State Rep. Lynne Blankenbeker
The answer is below the squiggly thingy.
If you guessed C you were right. New Hampshire state G.O.P. Representative has been quoted as saying that she has learned to shoot a .50 caliber machine gun in her military training, and that
The .50cal is quite a gun! I was never ascared of the unions but they better not F#%k with me again!!! Just saying.
Drop the "quite", throw in a few "forgetaboutits" and a "not for nothin" in there and it would definitely work as a line for a Sopranos character.
Well! I am sure we have all heard TV and radio pundits, and talking heads, as well as some everyday (albeit crazy wingnut) folks call union members "thugs." Now I don't know about the rest of you, but when someone says to me they know how to shoot a machine gun, and says "don't fuck with me" I kind of think that person is angry and threatening to hurt me. So, who is the real thug? The teacher? The construction worker(me)? I did not threaten to shoot anyone. And I am not going to, because I don't want to go to "the can" for terroristic threats. But, according to wingnut logic, I am a thug. But Lynne Blankenbeker is not, because she has that little R next to her name.
