With only two months remaining until the
2014 midterm elections, and
Republicans predicting a
GOP wave, Democrats are in a
state of panic!!!1!
President Obama—who doesn't possess the heart, brain, or courage of his predecessor—is not expected to grant illegal immigrants voting rights before the elections, leaving Democrats a few Mexicans short of a fiesta.
Increasingly desperate to retain their majority in the Senate (so as to prevent Obama's impeachment), they're now trying something that's so crazy it just might work—not running candidates.
Then again, it might not.

Florida state Sen. Alan Hays (R) wants to require students to watch Dinesh D'Souza's latest "documentary"... because freedom!
"It is important for our students to learn how to think instead of what to think, and otherwise, what they're teaching in school becomes nothing but a bunch of dogma," Hays said about his proposal "WallBuilders Lives" on Wednesday, according to a Right Wing Watch recording.
Hays believes that the film would help counter negative narratives in American history taught in schools.
"It's our obligation to keep that freedom going, and this movie can play a very important role in that," he said. "Otherwise, we will continue to see the fabric of our nation just eroded and eroded further and further away. And that needs to be stopped."

Koch Industries executive vice president Richard Fink argued that raising the minimum wage would lead to Nazism. Or something.
"We're taking these 500,000 people that would've had a job and putting them unemployed, making dependence part of government programs, and destroying their opportunity for earned success. And so we see this as a very big part of recruitment in Germany in the twenties. When the Germans were crushed by World War I, the allies put a very strong settlement on that. They lost their meaning in life. And if you look at the rise and fall of the Third Reich … what happens is a fascist comes in and offers them an opportunity."
Unfortunately...
According to "brain surgeon" Dr. Ben Carson, it might already be too late.
According to potential Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson, not only is the U.S. turning into Nazi Germany but the country is also taking its cues from communists.
In an interview yesterday with Iowa-based broadcaster Steve Deace, Carson said the powers of the executive branch are growing "because if somebody refuses to cooperate, you just pull the noose on them. That's basically the way a lot of communist countries work, that’s been happening to us over the last several years and most of us are completely unaware of it."
"The best way to curb that is you get somebody in office who actually understands the separation of powers and is not trying to become a dictator," he said.
We're fucked.
