This is for all the people who really need a little something other than "we're all doomed".
Granted....I think it's looking pretty bleak but there are sometimes stories out there that just make you go.....wow and for just a minute - everything doesn't seem so bad.
This is a story of an elderly woman in England named Sheila Marsh who was terminally ill and had very little time left to her. Ms. Marsh loved animals and had cared for many including dogs and for 18 years a horse named Bronwen.
Her dogs had been brought to the hospital to say goodbye but Ms. Marsh had one final wish to say goodbye to her horse.
Incredibly, a trust organization associated with the NHS actually arranged to have Bronwen the horse brought to the hospital parking lot and they wheeled Ms. Marsh out who managed to ask Bronwen for a kiss. Ms. Marsh died a few hours later.

Admit it....for just a moment you forgot about the election and the scary next two years. Enjoy your week and give your dog, cat or whatever an extra hug.
