Rep. Pete King (R-NY) didn't get the memo from from Krauthammer and Company that conservatives were going to condemn the no bill handed down by a Staten Island grand jury in the police choke hold death of Eric Garner.
King tweeted this:
Thanks to SI grand jury for doing justice & not yielding to outside pressure. Decision must be respected. Compassion for the Garner family.
It gets worse below the fold.
King later appeared on CNN where he said about Garner:
If he had not had asthma, and a heart condition and was so obese, almost definitely he would not have died from this.
Apparently, King doesn't believe that Eric Garner saying eleven times, "I can't breathe!" was any cause for concern by the police officer choking him.
The fact is if you can't breathe, you can't talk, King said. If you've ever seen anyone resisting arrest, I've seen it, and it's been white guys, and they're always saying, 'You're breaking my arm, you're choking me, you're doing this,' police hear this all the time.

King's reaction is in stark contrast to New York Senators' Kirsten Gillebrand and Chuck Schumer who called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate Garner's death. Attorney General Eric Holder said that Justice would begin an investigation immediately.
