HAVE YOU HEARD?
The Guardian is reporting that Debbie Wasserman Schultz is threatening a permanent lockout to the Sander’s Campaign data:
Bernie Sanders sues DNC for $600,000 a day over removal of data access
In a statement, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to rule out permanently denying the Sanders campaign access to its data. She said she personally reached out to the senator “to make sure that he is aware of the situation”, and that once the DNC receives a full report from his campaign, “we will make a determination on re-enabling the campaign’s access to the system”.
In making this threat she is violating the contractual agreement signed by all parties using the data services that the DNC hosts.:
A copy of the lawsuit filed with a federal court in Washington reveals that the agreement to use a shared computer system for voter registration and supporter data included a provision for a 10-day notice period for any changes to access…
This apparent illegal shutout of the Sander’s campaign is a breathtaking overreaction of DWS to a data breach that needs an independent investigation. This is not the first time that Debbie Wassermann Schultz has been clearly seen using her party leadership position to clearly show favoritism towards the Clinton campaign. So much so that people far and wide are now commenting on that partisanship, even from within the DNC itself:
One DNC member, Heather Mizeur of Maryland, is threatening to resign her position in protest if the Sanders campaign does not regain access to the voter file. Mizeur, a former state legislator and gubernatorial candidate, wrote on her Facebook page: “If the DNC doesn’t reverse its decision to give the Sanders campaign access to its voter file data again, I am ready to resign my post as a Democratic National Committeewoman from Maryland in protest. The DNC is expected to stay neutral and supportive of all candidates during the primaries and their response to this situation is heavy-handed and ill-conceived.”
This behavior of Debbie Wassermann Schultz is beyond outrageous and clearly indicts Hillary Clinton as a supporter of her behavior.
It is of interest that on the same page of the Guardian, that there is another article on Sanders; coincidence?
Bernie Sanders Sanders: Clinton's pursuit of 'regime change' in Libya helped rise of Isis
Bernie Sanders has accused Hillary Clinton of encouraging Islamic extremism in Libya, in a prelude to a Democratic debate on Saturday during which he is expected to go on the attack for the first time over the unintended consequences of the former secretary of state’s more interventionist foreign policy.
Speaking to the Guardian in an extensive pre-debate interview, the senator from Vermont criticised Clinton for carelessly fomenting regime change in Libya “without worrying” about the ensuing instability that has helped Islamic State forces take hold in the country.
In addition, in that same interview, Sanders connected Bill Clinton’s policies towards Wall Street and Hillary’s current fundraising and policies towards Wall Street:
He also draws new parallels with her husband’s record on Wall Street, where he wants to break up big banks and Clinton does not.
“I believe, during the 1990s, President Bill Clinton and the Republicans fought very hard to deregulate Wall Street, I led the opposition to that,” he said. “I did not think it was a good idea to allow investment banks, commercial banks and insurance companies to merge. My view today is that we have got to break up these huge institutions that have so much political and economic power.”
Interesting that these two articles are listed side by side.
By the way, if you haven’t read it yet, read the Sander's Lawsuit against the DNC. It makes crystal clear how the DNC is violating contractual agreements all over the place.
This is very serious stuff for our democracy, when our governing political party is trying to sabotague the only serious rival it has to its ‘favorite’ candidate.
And we waste so much time on Trump. WE HAVE OUR OWN FASCIST PROBLEMS IN OUR OWN PARTY.
This violent eating of its own by the DNC will not end well for HRC. And not end well for DWS.
