Last Thursday, Bernie Sanders had a great day. He surpassed 2,000,000 individual contributions and received a major endorsement.
On Friday, Wasserman Schulz suspended the Sanders campaign to its own database, preventing the campaign from contacting voters only weeks before a crucial Iowa Caucuses.
The reason was that a breach in the voter’s database managed by people hired by Schulz allowed a handful of Sanders campaign staff to peak at Clinton voter data for about two hours. There is no evidence that they actually did anything with it, and the breach was quickly reported by the Sanders campaign.
Her response was completely insane. Its even more unforgivable when you look at her history of apparent favouritism to the Clinton’s.
Sanders was forced to go into federal court to get its data, and Schulz actions have taken the focus away from the lunacy of the Republicans which was evidenced in their last debate, and have now given the national press a story about Democratic ineptitude, inviting questions about both Clinton and Sanders. How is any of that a good thing?
At this point I’m wondering what exactly this woman would have to do to lose this job? Is it some sort of lifetime entitlement in her case?
