Every 43 seconds a person will die from heart disease. Heart disease kills more Americans than anything else. Smoking and stress add to heart disease, but a diet that includes meat is the biggie.

If you want to live longer, try eating a salad during your next meal. A true vegetarian doesn’t eat meat, fish or dairy products. Go slowly one meal at a time. Try Tofu products, they do taste like meat. While you eat, slow down and drink water. In a few short weeks, you will feel more energy than you’ve had in years. You’re not going on a diet; you are slowly changing your eating habits.
Eating meat is a habit that is hard to break. Take it one meal at a time. Grab an orange, grapes, or apples when you feel hungry. Drink water every time you eat, you will be amazed how full you feel. Ever feel bloated? Tired? Have stomach issues? Many of these issues can go away when you slowly eliminate meat. It’s up to you to give up dairy and fish, if you get to that point, eat a hard-boiled egg every day. You need protein.
Take a second and look at pictures of cows and pigs being slaughtered to meet the demand for meat. Think about the amount of gas that comes from cows and pigs when they eat. Read about what eating meat does to the world. We live in a time when we need to do all we can to protect our air and water.
Maybe it’s hard to believe eating meat can hurt you and the world. Facts are all around to read for yourself.
Eat less meat and gradually no meat. Live a longer life during which you will feel better. Your welcome.

Which do you think is more responsible for global warming:
a gas-guzzling SUV, or a hamburger?
Surprise! It’s a burger.
Hard to believe? A recent United Nations report, “Livestock's Long Shadow,” demonstrated that raising animals for food generates more green house gases than all the cars, trains, planes and ships in the world combined.
In fact, reduce one’s meat consumption by only 20% would be equivalent to switching from a Camry to a Hybrid Prius. Think about that!
We CAN make big differences!
About 2,000 pounds of grains must be supplied to livestock in order to produce enough meat and other livestock products to support a person for a year, whereas 400 pounds of grain eaten directly will support a person for a year. Thus, a given quantity of grain eaten directly will feed five times as many people as it will if it is eaten indirectly by humans in the form of livestock products…

“The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all natural disasters, and all automobile accidents combined.
If beef is your idea of ‘real food for real people,’
you’d better live real close to a real good hospital.”

President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
“Vegetarian food leaves a deep impression on our nature. If the whole world adopts vegetarianism, it can change the destiny of humankind.”
