Happy Friday beer lovers! Come have a cold one with FNBB.
America has mostly outgrown prohibition, but our leaders don't tend to drink much in public. Different countries have different standards of course. In Germany politicians including the chancellor are expected to hoist a mug of beer like ordinary people.
And in Australia...
Tony Abbott filmed downing a beer in only seven seconds.
The prime minister was at a bar in east Sydney on Saturday along with players from the UTS Bats Australian Rules football team.
Some members of the team shouted chants encouraging him to finish his drink in one move - and Mr Abbott duly complied.
I wonder what "chants" were shouted? A tame "chug! chug! chug!"? Or something more like what I learned in college: "drink mother------ drink!"? OK, probably even drunken Aussie football players wouldn't say
that to the PM. Probably.

I've got "Point The Way" IPA, from Golden Road in L.A. Trader Joe's has been carrying it. When I had some on tap there was a big hop aroma that is totally missing from the canned version and I probably won't buy more. Recommended if you see it on tap though. What are you drinking? Who's brewing?
