How about this for some super-charged "grassroots" support?
Already, one super-PAC pledging to promote Sanders' candidacy, "Ready for Bernie Sanders 2016" [their Facebook Page] is ramping up its visibility now that Sanders is in, and renaming itself "Bet on Bernie." The founder, a man named Cary Lee Peterson, said he expects to spend about $50,000 on a Times Square billboard supporting Sanders. Peterson, in a telephone interview, said he doesn't actually know Sanders but admires his background and positions, and that, with Sanders now an official candidate, he's been contacted by about 5,000 volunteers and received about $58 million in pledges -- but so far has only about $2,000 in hand.

Can Bernie Sanders Duck Super-PACs?
by Margaret Tale and Julie Bykowicz, bloomberg.com -- May 1, 2015
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said Sanders "has a strong record of supporting working families" and that "the field remains open. And the labor movement's doors are open to any candidate who is serious about transforming our economy with high and rising wages.”
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee's co-founder Adam Green said that Sanders is "a positive addition to the race" and has been "a vibrant progressive voice for years" while PCCC officials were not aware of any efforts to back Sanders through super-PACs.
Someone should let the good folks over at PCCC know, that their preferred Progressive Candidate (Senator Warren) is NOT running.

Bernie Sanders Raised $3 Million From Small Donors in the First Four Days of His Campaign
by Gregory Krieg, mic.com -- May 07, 2015
Your 2016 Democratic presidential primary in a nutshell: At about the same time Hillary Clinton revealed Wednesday she would begin raising unlimited money for a super PAC supporting her bid, an aide to Sen. Bernie Sanders told the Huffington Post the Vermont independent's campaign had taken in $3 million over four days -- at an average of $43 per donation, from an estimated 75,000 supporters.
The same adviser reported that 99.4% of the contributions were for $250 or less. Furthermore, the Huffington Post reported, Sanders' campaign website has collected 185,000 email addresses, an indication his grassroots donor base could grow throughout the primary season.
58 Million + 3 Million = a Lot of Millions.
Anymore Progressive/Populist interests out there -- tired of having your Vote and
your Views,
taken for granted as if they were only so many
trial balloons?
Well here's your chance to put your Money, where your conviction is, in the Campaign coffers of one Progressive/Populist/Democratic Socialist -- who actually means what he says: Senator Bernie Sanders. Like when he was fighting to protect OUR Social Security:

May the best Candidate for the People actually win. But may they actually be heard, first.
Last time I checked, this country doesn't do "coronations." Someone should let the Media know that too -- that their job is NOT to promote someone's "foregone conclusions." Their job is to observe and report the Facts, and not to "Call the Race" -- before it even begins.
