Well, I think we will be smelling some terrible stink coming up the I-4 Corridor and all around Fantasyland come, Tuesday, June 2.
The Gainesville Sun and others seem to think Rick Scott's summit, featuring the Clown car passengers as more than a jobs summit. I had written a diary about how not to laugh about Scott's ambitions and others are seeing what some thought was my imagination running wild. It wasn't. Scott is being suspect of eyeballing a senate run including but not limited to maybe getting a nod as VP slot from one of the clowns that will be speaking at his summit. Imagine that !!!!!

Number one I think there’s an element of self-promotion for the governor,” said Florida Gulf Coast University political science professor Peter Bergerson.
Whether Scott is angling for a U.S. Senate seat, the vice presidential nod, a future cabinet position in a Republican presidential administration or simply to have greater clout beyond Florida remains to be seen.
But consider today an audition for everyone involved in front of the state and national media, key donors and the voting public.
Twenty nine electoral votes... count them..29....Did anyone really think this guy was going to be left behind and out of the spotlight with Florida in play ? Not me. I counted on him and his money to big part of someone's presidential bid. The man does have his own jet. If there is one thing that these Fools love, is money.. Scott has that and does not mind parting with it for his own behalf.
Let it be known that while the Gov is playing Host to the guys trying for 1600 Pa. Avenue, the state has failed to pass a budget and is facing a shutdown.
I also think it fair to mention that the Medicaid expansion is still being held back and Rick Scott thinks the people will buy the Jobs Summit theme. I find it ironic to hold a meeting with plans to try and bring jobs to folks who will be too sick to work them. Holding this kind of meeting so close to Fantasyland is about the closest thing to realistic I see happening in the gathering. This is not about jobs. This is about image. Mr Clean wants a better image and a place in the parade. With as much dough as this guy has, he will more than likely get that spot.
