Did you see the Rachael Maddow show recently? Tonight there was this dishonest hit job against Obama's negotiation with Iran. It quoted 2 Newspaper EDITORIALS. Yes, that's right--editorials to make the case. Sound familiar? Yea, to me too! Being curious, I googled "United Against Nuclear Iran" and had to wade through their petition to get to their site. You can put in "dumb" information and it will get you to where you do some real digging. But their About Page is Here:

As you can see, there are familiar names here, but Lieberman's name is mid way down. The others in this rogue's gallery include Fran Townsend.
Here's more "about" these guys:
United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, advocacy group that seeks to prevent Iran from fulfilling its ambition to obtain nuclear weapons. UANI was founded in 2008 by Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, the late Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, Former CIA Director Jim Woolsey and Middle East expert Dennis Ross.
There's nothing about starting a war naturally. But if there isn't a deal, which seems to be the objective....
On an intersting note, they list companies involved in Iran, which you can get from their main page. They also give you a way to sound off against that business, doing business with Iran. I know they want to undermine negotiations here, but putting pressure on companies to pull out now seems intended on making Iran more defensive/militant. Here's an example:
http://www.unitedagainstnucleariran.com/...
Launched a campaign calling on General Motors (GM) to use its influence and leverage to compel its new partner, French automaker Peugeot, to immediately end its extensive business in Iran. In the event Peugeot does not comply, UANI has called on GM to end its partnership with Peugeot. UANI has also called on GM to explain its new partnership with Unison, a Belarus-based auto manufacturer that is reportedly partially owned by the Iranian regime-owned automaker Iran Khodro (IKCO).
But I was more interested in the Astro Turfing they put out as Grassroots:

There's more, but I've only started to look. Time to update:

Their Press Releases:

Thu Jun 25, 2015 at 10:36 PM PT: I just wanted to add something I should have said when talking about the pressure being put on companies doing business in Iran. In my book, we might be better off if we gave Iran reasons to work with the world, versus working against it. The adage of using honey instead of vinegar seems appropriate, but would be lost on this crowd.
Finally, another mention of names involved here: Mike Gerson and Otto J. Reich.
Bring back memories of say...2003?
