On the 8th anniversary of the 7th 2008 Democratic Primary Debate, the DNC has finally announced the schedule for the 2016 Democratic Primary Debate Schedule.
There are still 6 debates scheduled with the first taking place on October 13th, 2015 in Nevada.
Only the first 4 have been given actual dates and some, including the first one in Neveda, do not specify the city, venue or time. But at least we now have something!
I guess we should all be grateful Debbie Wassermann Schultz was at least able to pick a date for the first four! It's hard work being the head of the DNC when you are also responsible for producing Bingo cards for the GOP debates.
Update: I meant to include this but was so excited there were actually debates scheduled I forgot. This is the number of debates we have had in prior open seat primary contests:
1984 11 debates
1988 22 debates
1992 12 debates
2000 9 debates
2004 15 debates
2008 25 debates
Six is almost close to those prior numbers!
