Stunning revelation from Fox “News”:
a new batch of WikiLeaks emails surfaced with stunning charges that the candidate herself was at the center of negotiating a $12 million commitment from King Mohammed VI of Morocco. ...
Abedin wrote that "this was HRC's idea" for her to speak at a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in Morocco in May 2015 as an explicit condition for the $12 million commitment from the king.

But, um, notice the date: 2015. The reason that “Pay to Play” could be a scandal if proven is that it’s about using a public office (Secretary of State) to benefit a private interest (the Clinton Global Initiative, and perhaps Ms. Clinton as an indirect beneficiary). Stripping out the breathless innuendo, Fox is reporting that Ms. Clinton, as a private citizen, offered to use her and CGI’s resources in exchange for a large charitable contribution to CGI. What, pray tell, is (or would be; the source requires the subjunctive) wrong with that??? (In equally shocking news, I’ve heard that University Presidents sometimes spend time with alumni who donate to their alma mater!)
