According to what’s flying on Twitter, Kanye West at a concert last night announced that he would have voted for Trump. If he had ever bothered to vote. I’ve been reading the reports just to double check this, and it appears he wasn’t kidding.

"I told you I didn't vote ... but if I would've voted, I would've voted on Trump," he said, earning a chorus of boos and a wee smattering of support. According to the San Jose Mercury News, folks threw things at him -- hats, shoes, T-shirts -- and complained that he talked too much during the show.
As some may remember, Kanye announced at VMA awards or some similar program that he would run for office in 2020. Of course, he announced this back when Hillary was still thought a sure thing to win this year. I wonder what party he thinks he’ll run in, if any.
And Hell, maybe he’ll win. Instead of reality TV star Donald Trump in the Whitehouse, we would have Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian. It sounds ridiculous when I put it that way, I know, but just look at what happened last week.
Kanye also expressed some strong opinions about race relations in the wake of Trump’s victory.
West reportedly orated for 25 minutes and included a comment "specifically to black people": "Stop focusing on racism," he urged. "This world is racist, OK? Let's stop being distracted to focus on that so much. It's just a ... fact. We are a racist country, period. Do not allow people to make us talk about that so ... long. ... It's a racist ... country. And not one or the other candidate was going to instantly be able to change that because of their views."
So shut up. For Kanye. Neither candidate could change that. Not Hillary, and not the KKK endorsed candidate. Whom he would have voted for. If he ever voted.
Kanye also improvised the lyrics on stage, "I Hope They Build a Wall, I Hope They Get Rid of Them All."
No comment on all this yet from Honey BooBoo, the Chrisleys, Ozzy Osbourne, Paris Hilton, Josh Duggar, or Ron Jeremy.
