To avoid DBAD and another timeout I’m refraining from commenting in Jen Hayden’s diary on John Kelly currently at the top of the reclist. Nothing in it is untrue, all the points made in it are important, but it seems to me a transparent attempt by Fox News and John Kelly to remove public attention from TrumpRussia. The only other additional explanation I can think of is that John Kelly is trying to prove his alt right bona fides so that when Trump’s crew are all hauled off to jail and only Mattis, Kelly, McMaster and Orrin Hatch are left standing, that Kelly is paving the way for calming down any gun-happy Trump base crazies who might react badly to Trump going to prison by showing that he is one of them. If that is the case he seems to be crucifying his own reputation for the greater good. But that is just speculation on my part, the only thing for certain is that the timing is suspect and the content was pushed by Fox News. Probably just a push to swing the news cycle, to distract with inflammatory content.
But back to TrumpRussia, Sen. Feinstein sent some extremely interesting letters out last week, which all seem to touch on people and topics that I have been following with avid interest for months. I didn’t notice any other diaries here at dkos mentioning these letters. I have diaried plenty about Louise Mensch and Claude Taylor and they both have written extensively about the subjects of her letters.
Here are links—the first has links to the actual letters sent:

www.politico.com/…
They all seem to have deadlines of November 6th, which is even more interesting to me than the content. It shows that the TrumpRussia investigation is speeding up. One was sent to the White House, one to Michael Cohen, one to Facebook, one to Twitter and one to Cambridge Analytica. I encourage readers to read the actual letters, as they list a Who’s Who of major players in the TrumpRussia investigation. Of course all those names will hit the MSM as they are arrested, but it’s nice to have some forward news on what to expect.
Also of particular interest to me is the letter to Michael Cohen requesting “all communications concerning (i) Sberbank, or (ii) Vneshtorgbank (a.k.a. VTB Bank) or (iii) Alfa Bank.” I received a lot of heat here for supporting Louise Mensch, but it’s interesting that one of the main points of her blog is being investigated by Sen. Feinstein.

The five letters are in pdf format—if it’s legal to upload them as image files I will—please let me know in the comments. Alternately I could OCR and excerpt some paragraphs, but the full content of the letters is very interesting, not sure what would be best to highlight.
