Wonder of wonders — just received an email requesting me respond to a survey from the Whitehouse: “Now is your chance to give your input. Let us know what issues you want President Trump to focus on and your ideas for the future of our country.”
The survey was clearly written by someone who had practice writing push polls. The first question asked about what did I think was the most significant accomplishment by the new administration. Unfortunately the choices of “creating chaos in international and domestic interactions” or “strengthening the Democratic party by encouraging millions of new supporters” or even “proving by negative example how important competence in the Executive branch is” weren’t options listed — so I left the question blank <G>. There were a couple of text entry blocks to allow for freeform input (what are your ideas to make America Great, any other comment) so I do feel that taking the “survey” could have value — especially if enough people really do express some positive and progressive ideas.
The survey does ask for complete contact information — but since they clearly already had my name and email address (I suspect from the Whitehouse petition site) I’m not overly concerned.
So, in your comments, what do you think would be the most significant “accomplishment” so far and what recommendations for how to make things better would you make — but say something other than “ … tRump resign” — that’s TOO easy <G>.
