Something nice to wake up to. Just yesterday when I checked on www.electproject.org/… for the early vote totals in Florida on Sun Dems were still down by .5%. So I hoped for the kind of miracle we saw in NV on Friday, when nearly 50k people showed up to vote in Clark Co. and Dems moved up a full percent in the final totals.
And we got it! A final outpouring of anger, resistance, and commitment to democracy and our best values flipped this number around. Dems are now up .5% per the FL Secretary of State.
Miami Herald: “Early voting surged to its highest levels yet in Florida’s biggest counties on Saturday, giving Democrats new hope for a ‘blue wave’ that could catapult Andrew Gillum to the governor’s mansion and keep Bill Nelson in the U.S. Senate. Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough and Orange, the five biggest ‘blue’ counties, all reported their highest one-day early voting totals of the 2018 campaign.”

The momentum is on our side now. Let’s make sure we encourage, implore and cajole everyone each of us knows to vote. This risk of not doing this is simply too high.
