New Mexico Democrats are busy mobilizing voters for the upcoming June 5th Primary! There are 3 Democrats in the race for Land Commissioner, two men who were recently in the GOP, and then there is Stephanie Garcia Richard! Stephanie has been a State Legislator for 6 years for NM District 43. Her District is like a microcosm of the State, with many types of land including rural, national lab (LANL) property, Tribal Lands, National Forest/Park, ranches, farms, and towns like Los Alamos. Stephanie has worked on water, fire, resource, and wildlife issues. She is the NM House Education Chair, and also a member of the NM House Appropriations committee. This experience has her prepared on day one to be the NM Land Commissioner. She is a proven True Blue Democrat, she authored a background gun check bill and an anti-Border Wall Bill to name a few. She has been a featured speaker at the Women's March and for Union rights rallies. The other two Dems in the race are marginal, but too conservative for the progressive needs of New Mexico. We need a bold, experienced leader to to protect our NM Public Lands, and Stephanie’s record proves she is ready and the right choice! If you can donate any amount to help her along — her team would sure appreciate it!
