Ford’s parents almost lost their home in foreclosure (will explain more below).
Sounds like she did not come from wealth and privilege like the frat boys Kavanaugh and Judge.
Was she therefore perceived as fair game? Was this class as well as gender warfare?
We know about the foreclosure because the Righties uncovered the fact that Kavanaugh’s mother, a judge, presided over a case involving the near-foreclosure of Ford’s family home. The righties’ theory is that she has nursed a grudge, explaining her motive in making up an attempted rape charge. Unfortunately for that theory, the facts are that the parents were able to refinance and save the home, and the sum total of the Mrs. Kavanaugh’s involvement in that chapter of Ford’s life was to grant the lender’s (obviously uncontested) motion to rescind the foreclosure notice of sale.
