I’d like to introduce you all to my brother-in-law Roger Montoya, who has just announced his candidacy as a Democrat for New Mexico House District 40.
Roger is one of the most extraordinary people I know, a multi-talented painter, dancer, chef and recent runner up in CNN’s contest for Local Heroes for his ongoing work with local youth in his dance classes and a person who has lived with HIV for most of his adult life. I have known him nearly thirty five years, ever since his sister married my brother and I attended a Thanksgiving dinner with him and his large family at the home of his parents Joe and Dorothy in the Espanola Valley of New Mexico’s unique “el Norte” (NM CD3), home to a population of native Hispanics who settled into the area starting in 1598.
Roger attended the recent SOTU event as the guest of Rep Ben Ray Lujan, who is now running to replace Tom Udall as one of NM’s two Democratic Senators.

And might I suggest using the secret Kossak Kode of adding $0.01 to your donated amount so we can track support from the Kosmmunity.
Thanks for reading, and supporting, if you can. Roger is the real deal, someone very special, and that really means something going from a jaundiced old cynic like me.
